This painting depicts a brook at the south foot of Yunmeng Mountain in Beijing, under the valley. The trees are luxuriant on the brook, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, and the brook water is clear to the bottom. When the sun shines on the stone through the leaves in the morning, it will make the stone appear particularly white, which has a strong contrast with the shade of the trees, making the cool valley appear both deep and bright.

這幅作品描繪了北京雲蒙山南麓，山谷下的小溪，溪上樹木繁茂，鳥語花香，溪水清澈見底，每當早晨的陽光透過樹葉照射到石頭上，會讓石頭顯得格外潔白，和樹蔭的暗處產生強烈的對比，讓這清涼的幽谷顯得既深幽又明亮。
