The theme of this work is litchi and chicken, and the idea is taken from the Chinese “homophonic”. In Chinese, “chicken” and “ji” have the same pronunciation, and “li” and “li” have the same pronunciation, so they are named (auspicious chart). The chicks were playing under the litchi tree, and the chicken father seemed to be telling a story to the chicks, presenting a peaceful scene.

這幅作品是以荔枝和小雞為主題，構思是取自漢語的“諧音”。在漢語中“雞”和“吉”發音相似，“荔”和“利”發音相同，所以取名為（吉利圖）。小雛雞在荔枝樹下玩耍，雞爸爸仿佛在講故事給小雛雞聽，呈現出一片祥和的景象。
